I (they/them) am a French filmmaker and researcher, currently working as tenured Assistant Professor in Film Studies at the American University of Paris.
My research and artistic work explores the intersections between cinema and online media. I am particularly interested in questions related to embodied spectatorship, gestures of appropriation, processes of knowledge production and mediated memory. Several of my films are desktop documentaries, and I am generally passionate about everything that concerns the video essay format and videographic research methods.
My work has received support from institutions such as the CNC, CNAP, Eurimages and the Sundance Institute, and has been in official selection at festivals that include IFFRotterdam, IDFA, FIDMarseille, Berlin Critic's Week, Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen and Ars Electronica.
I regularly work as a mentor for international project development programs (the Berlinale Talents program, l’Alternativa Development Lab, the Maison d’Andé residency program, the Golden Pixel initiative…) and happily take requests for one-off consultations or longer-term project support.
